Spanish Class

Here is a little Fyi on What we are doing in Spanish Classes.
Of course when you ask children what they are learning they tell you..."nothing..."
Students sing, learn hand motions for Spanish words, we are using action in the classroom, it is tiring but such a fun way to learn and much more is learned through action.
We have stories, games, worksheets, listening, speaking, conversational video clips, I often hear students say "class is over?! Students have such a great time and really soak up the material.

Kindergarten and Pre-K LOVE to learn Spanish with Choco the hedgehog puppet!

Students learn Bible Verses and meanings, this is a typical bulletin board in the Spanish room it has the verse and Bible truth that we are working on. Above is the 2nd-5th Grade verse and Bible truth.

The following is for students K3 to 1st grade:

These are the verses we have learned in Spanish so far...
We have also covered 3 or more Spanish hymns and additional Spanish Songs.

Spanish stories are read in class these are the stories we have read so far, students learn what each word means.

Students learn about Spanish culture and also vocabulary words, the following are the ones we have covered this year.
