Italian Stain Glass Drawings

This is a wonderfully easy and fun project for Elementary students. I started with a lesson on Italian stained glass, gave examples and focused on the Last Supper Stained Glass. Students used crayons to create vibrant stained glass art. Students then used cotton ball and vegetable oil to smooth over the entire coloring sheet. Students may use dry cotton balls to blot excess oil.
Make sure to let these works of art dry for 2 days or more before transporting.

the oil creates a wonderful transparent "Stained Glass" piece.
