Here are 2 designs that I made the first is Kissing Carp:
The second is: my signature Peacock design
I sketched these by hand then imported them into illustrator live traced them and added my logo design and played around to get the right pattern which took longer than expected! then agonized over the colors until I came up with pink and orange. To me this looks like modern india.
Believe it or not the most complicated part was making the pattern it is very different and harder than it looks.
